Virginia Employed Orthopedic Surgery opportunity for a BE/BC General Orthopedic Surgeon to join very busy and well-established Orthopedic Surgery Group in Virginia, close to North Carolina border. Call will be 1:4. This comprehensive JCAHO health system is celebrating 50 years of helping make life better for their community and several adjoining communities. This health system serves as a Regional Referral center for their 80,000+ residents and has 190+ licensed beds. The facility has more than 100 physicians on staff in more than 28 specialties. Along with providing Acute and Long-term care, this multi-divisional organization provides Behavioral Health, Dementia Care, Home Health and Hospice to the residents of their community. Compensation: $450,000 income guarantee with RVU’s; $150,000 (4 yr) Loan Assistance; Covered Malpractice, Health, Dental, and Disability Insurance. Plus 401(k) Retirement covered – Automatic 3% contributed by the Hospital with another 3% $1 for $1 match. Vacation: 4 weeks! Also 1 week CME and $2,500 allowance.
